First things first Patrick got his first tooth coming in, yey!

Second I think its time to say good bye to brestfeeding for good, for about a month now we have been feeding him regular food and formula but night feeding him on the breast. At first I slowly got him into feeding him with the breast in the morning and regular jared food and formula during the day and before he goes to bed I would breast feed him and during the night breastfeed him. Now he just has a bottle before bed then breastfeed him when he wakes up during the night.

My son desided that he wants only mommy when he is hurt, or hungry or even happy for that matter when he was born, and it got old very quickly, it took him about 9 1/2 months to really go to other people and sleep on them and finally go to sleep in someone elses arms. Which is nice for me he was/is so clingy, but alot better.

We also co-sleep so breastfeeding also made it hard to get him to sleep in his bed which (now) if he falls asleep on me, I place him in his crib and he will sleep for between a few minutes to about an hour before he starts screaming for me. Luckly that I can get him to sleep in his bed for a few hours at bed time before he gets up for a feeding.

So far he is doing really well with the no breastfeeding I uped his bottle feeding up to 8oz (before he only had 6oz bottles during the day) and now give him a bottle instead of breastfeeding him. Tuesday night i feed him his first night bottle before bed and he slept for about 1 1/2 hrs before waking up and wanting his next bottle then fell asleep in our bed. Last night gave him his bottle before bed he slept for about 2hrs then woke up ate a 8oz bottle, fell back asleep in my arms and put him in his crib and he slept the rest of the night before waking me up at 8:30 this morning!
