Strega nona

Strega Nona is an original children’s book written and illustrated by Tomie dePaola. It concerns Strega Nona (“Grandma Witch”) and her helper. The helper causes the title character’s magic pasta pot to create so much pasta that it nearly flooded and burial a town.

I grew up with this story, i recommend this book for any age it has a great story line and it teaches children not to touch things that are not theirs!

Math is fun?

So my daughter decided to do some math problems on her whiteboard and she wrote the problem then answered them (correctly with out help) this is what her board looked like afterwards… Mind u she is only 4 and hasn’t been to school or any daycare she is just to smart for me!

Today is valentines day!

Today is valentines day! (Yes stating the obvious) For the pass year me and my daughter make our cards for daddy/(hubby). so this year we decided to use our construction paper and her new safety scissors she got for christmas to make the cards and make decorations for our house.

This is my card to my hubby:

My daughter really wanted to cut out a heart with her safety scissors so i showed her how, i folded the paper in half and drew the line that made half of the heart and told her to follow the line and cut it out! She did really well with it!

Here is her first heart:

I am so proud of her, she is growing up to fast!
